Season 2 of the Elite Pickleball League has dinked and driven its way to a close, and what a thrill of a dill it's been! We extend our hearty congratulations to our three division champions - they've truly sliced their way to the gherkin top of the jar. Let's take a quick whip through the finals, hold onto your paddles!

3.5 Division Final: The BB's vs Tommy & Evan

3.5 Winners - Tommy & Evan

This was the pickleball battle to relish, as the undefeated BB's from the South division clashed with the equally unbeaten Tommy and Evan from the East. Despite gusty conditions at the windswept Boojum court, this showdown was nothing short of a brine-soaked spectacle.

Throughout the season, The BB's racked up an impressive streak, matching Tommy and Evan's perfect record - a statistical rarity as piquant as a well-aged pickle. But when the pickleballs flew in the finals, Tommy and Evan wielded their paddles like wind-whisperers, carving out a clear victory in straight sets, 11-3, 11-8. Congratulations to our 3.5 champions!

4.0 Division Final: Andrew & Matt vs Picklelicious

4.0 Winners - Andrew & Matt

As they say in pickleball, it's not about the size of the dill in the fight, it's about the size of the fight in the dill. Our top two 4.0 south teams, Andrew & Matt and Picklelicious, squared off in a savory showdown that left spectators on edge.

Andrew & Matt proved themselves to be the crunchier pickle in the jar this time, defeating Picklelicious in straight sets, 11-4, 11-7. A game well played!

4.5+ Division Final: FPC vs Rip City

4.5+ Winners - FPC (Paul & Eddie)

In a surprise twist, the 3rd and 4th seeds of the 4.5+ division, FPC and Rip City, met in a final game that was as thrilling as a last-minute pickle purchase at a farmer's market.

With an exhilarating display of precision and power, FPC outplayed Rip City, delivering an astounding straight-sets victory, 11-3, 11-8. Tip of the paddle to FPC for bagging this championship!

So that's a wrap, pickleball fans. A season jam-packed with drive shots, drop shots, and countless dinks. Remember, this is only the pickleball beginning. So, keep your paddles at the ready, and your pickles extra crunchy. For the full bracket, click here
