Ladies and gentlemen, pickleball enthusiasts, and weekend warriors, the Elite Pickleball League has kicked off with a bang!

Week 1 has come to an end, and we've seen thrills, spills, and nail-biting finishes that have left us craving more. The dinks were dinky, the volleys fierce, and the spirit of competition undeniable.

So, gather around and grab a snack, as we recap the dinks, drops, and drives that made this opening week one for the books!

4.5+ Division:

  1. TJ Happy Valley (W) vs Rip City (L) - A thrilling opening match for the 4.5 Division saw TJ Happy Valley emerge victorious over Rip City, 11-9 and 11-3. The first game was a nail-biter, but TJ Happy Valley found their groove in the second game, cruising to victory with a total point differential of 10. Fans were on the edge of their seats!
  2. Rip City (W) vs Dont Dink About It (L) - Rip City bounced back from their earlier loss with a rollercoaster of a match against Dont Dink About It. Both teams battled it out in a grueling three-game set, 11-6, 5-11, and 17-15. With a razor-thin point differential of 1, this was undoubtedly the match of the week!
  3. TJ Happy Valley (W) vs Dont Dink About it (L) - In a decisive victory, TJ Happy Valley took down Dont Dink About It, 11-5 and 11-6. Consistency was the key in this match, as TJ Happy Valley maintained their composure and secured an impressive 11-point differential.

4.0 Division:

  1. Dinks On the House (W) vs Chris & Thomas (L) - In a close match, Dinks On the House managed to outplay Chris & Thomas, 11-9 and 11-5. With an 8-point differential, Dinks On the House showed that they can handle the pressure, making it a fantastic start to their season.
  2. Picklelicious (W) vs Killa Zen (L) - A hard-fought battle saw Picklelicious snatch victory from Killa Zen, 5-11, 11-3, and 12-10. This back-and-forth showdown had fans cheering wildly, and Picklelicious' comeback in the final game gave them a 4-point differential edge.
  3. Beaver Ball (W) vs Trey & Cheyanna (L) - Beaver Ball dominated Trey & Cheyanna with an impressive 12-point differential, 11-1 and 12-10. Beaver Ball's aggressive playstyle and excellent teamwork proved too much for Trey & Cheyanna to handle.

3.5 Division:

  1. Mark & Dan (W) vs Naps (L) - In a three-game showdown, Mark & Dan emerged victorious over Naps, 11-1, 10-12, and 11-8. Their resilience after a narrow second-game loss helped them secure an 11-point differential and a well-deserved win.
  2. Mollies (W) vs The Volley llamas (L) - The Mollies put on a spectacular performance against The Volley llamas, dominating both games, 11-3 and 11-2. With a commanding 17-point differential, the Mollies showed that they're a force to be reckoned with in the 3.5 Division.
  3. Hide Yo Wives (W) vs Midwesterners (L) - This intense match saw Hide Yo Wives secure victory over the Midwesterners, 11-7, 7-11, and 11-1. After a second-game hiccup, Hide Yo Wives bounced back, ending the match with an impressive 10-point differential.
